Lady in Red

This past weekend was super busy but so fun!  We had a couple of lovely dinners catching up with old friends that we haven't seen for a while, we took the girls to do the dog park and I started my holiday baking.  I'll be sharing a recipe or two soon :)
Up until a few years ago, my closet was close to 85% grey and black.  While classic, I was ready to start playing with color a bit more.  When I shop, I now try to make a concise decision not to by things in grey or black, but try a new color instead!  Case in point is this red dress.  I never thought that red was my color, but when I saw this dress, I was instantly smitten.  I love the fact that it has pockets (!) and its styling lends itself perfectly to layering a long sleeve shirt underneath it (jumper style) or throwing a blazer or cardigan over it.
You guys know my obsession with hearts ... and this scarf is a new fav for sure!  The black and white color palette makes it super versatile and I am really digging the scarf trend for winter as it is a perfect way to add a bit of warmth but can be easily removed if you get too warm.  Hope your week is off to a great start, beauties!!!!
